We believe:
The Bible is God’s authoritative word to man
so that every word in its original writings is inspired of God
and without error (2 Timothy 3:16).
There is one God (Deuteronomy 6:4) who
eternally exists in three equal but distinct persons – the
Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit (Matthew 28:19).
Jesus Christ is fully God and fully man (John
1:1-2, 14). After living a sinless life, Christ died as a
substitute to pay the penalty for our sins (2 Corinthians 5:21)
and rose bodily from the dead (1 Corinthians 15:20).
Man was originally created in the image and
likeness of God (Genesis 1:26-27). In Adam all mankind fell
into sin (Roman 5:12) with the result that all men are sinners
(Romans 3:23) and under condemnation and separated from God
(Romans 5:18).
Salvation is a free gift received solely by
believing in Jesus Christ and His sacrifice for sin so that
wholly by His grace our sins are forgiven and a relationship
with God is restored (Ephesians 2:8-9; 1:7;
John 1:12; Titus 3:5).
All Christians are to assemble themselves
with other Christians in local churches to receive instruction
and provide mutual support and encouragement in living lives for
the Lord’s glory, offering praise to Him, and carrying out His
service in the world (Hebrews 10:24-25; 13:15;
Ephesians 4:11-16; 1
Corinthians 14:26; 16:1-2; 10:31;
Matthew 28:19-20).
