Join us Sunday mornings for “The Gathering” New Times Starting 10/4/2009 9:30 – Community Groups* and Children's Learning Centers 10:45 – Celebration of Praise and Proclamation of the Word. This is a time in which we come together to offer praise to our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, and to listen to teaching from the Scriptures of the true and living God and His plan for our lives. *Community Groups What is a Community Group? – a community group is a small group of Christians (6-16) which meet together for the purpose of experiencing authentic community together and joining together to make a significant difference with a particular focus. When do Community Groups meet? – they meet weekly at 9:30a.m. as part of our Sunday morning Gathering. They also meet periodically outside of the Sunday morning context. What takes place at a Community Group meeting? – this is a time of praying and encouraging one another, discussing the passage we have studied that week (as a church, we study the Scriptures in community which means that individuals and families are encouraged to study a passage throughout the week). Children’s Learning Centers During this segment of our morning, our children are divided up into classes where they receive age appropriate instruction.
